The CBBB is located at The Lazy Parrot on Pantops.

Our inaugural get together was on week 14 2006 against the Dolphins where a dozen Bills fans turned out to watch the Bills Squish the Fish in a 21-0 Shutout.
The 2007 season marked our first full season as a group, and we averaged 20 Bills fans per game.
2008 Season has been very exciting and through 5 weeks we have had no less than 40 fans show up for each game. We are growing constantly and something special is happening in Charlottesville

PRE-ORDER YOUR C.B.B.B. T-SHIRTS! They'll Make Great Christmas Gifts! :-)

We will be ordering C.B.B.B. T-Shirts and will cost $16.00 each (add $2.00 for XXL and larger).

The C.B.B.B. has raised $110 so far via the 50/50 raffles that will go toward the cost of ordering these shirts. We are also receiving a very generous gift from our host "The Lazy Parrot" to offset the cost by placing his logo on the right sleeve.
Our first order will be for 50 T-shirts, and should take about 2 weeks from the date of ordering.

C.B.B.B. GLASSES
We have had a ton of requests for new mugs/glasses. I am working on style, pricing and quantity, and hope to have some news by next week.

FOOTBALL FANS CHARITY GOLF TORNAMENT FOR OPERATION B.R.A.V.O.
I just want to thank all of the Bills fans who showed up last week to play in our tournament to raise some money for Operation B.R.A.V.O. in order to bring a little bit of "home" to our troops this holiday season. We had a modest turn out, but between the raffles and some very generous donations, we were able to rasie $1,300 for the cause. The event was covered by the Daily Progress. Read about it here http://www.dailyprogress.com/cdp/sports/hi...r_troops/29373/

To further emphasize the impact that our efforts have had, I am including a copy of an e-mail received from a Major General by my co-chair Jan Corin. I am keeping his information private but you will get the idea.

Jan - you probably have some idea of how important the support of the
American people is to our Soldiers, but most citizens do not...events
like this emphasize that support and are so critically important to
Soldiers morale. Thanks so much to you and the rest of the BRAVO team
for your selfless dedication. I'm working with Bill Hamilton to get
some of the donated equipment to our Soldiers, he also very bravely
wants to make a personal trip to deliver the stuff, but that is of
course much more difficult. Hope I can catch up with you at a
tournament like this in the future. All the best and God Bless - Ray

Thaks everyone - See you on Sunday!

For many of us who were left in the dark during the Chargers game and forced to sit through much of the disaster that was the Pittsburgh Vs. Cincy Game, I'd like to hear how you followed the game?

Our group of 40 plus fans assembled by 1:00 and cheered the Defense during first drive. That was nice, but then alll hell broke loose and the sattelite lost the feed to Buffalo. There were a few moments when we were just hoping and waiting, and believed reports that the game was suspended. Finally one of our Bills Backers, Trevor, called into some sort of NFL cell phone service, and began relaying the play by play.

It was like listening to the invasion of D-Day. OK, maybe it wasn't THAT historical or important, but it was certainly a throw back to yesteryear. It was very funny. The whole room was silent as Trevor stood through 2 quarters relaying information. When the Defense gave up a first down we all yelled in discgust. When the Bills scored the cheers were just as loud as they normally are. We played the shout song none the less, and I was very impressed with our group's resiliance and dedication. I recorded some video and hope to edit a little montage to share.

Finally another Backer, Andrew, ran home to get his laptop and then to Radio Shack for a cable to connect to the stereo system. We tapped into Bills Radio Broadcast in Buffalo and listened to the game until midway through the 3rd quarter.

It was chaotic for a while, but we pulled through and it ended up being a great day. Bills Fans are resiliant!

The more things change the more they stay the same. The country spoke last night and overwhelmingly voted for change. Meanwhile the Bills have been up to their old tricks and have dropped 2 important games in a row to AFC East division rivals.

Well No More!!! If the country can change than why can't the Bills? This Sunday ROOT FOR CHANGE when the Bills travel to New England and attempt to shift the balance of power away from the AFC East incumbent New England Patriots. Yes, the Bills have stumbled but now they must use these past 2 games as motivation to bounce back, march into New England and TROUNCE NEW ENGLAND for the first time in years!!!

Come down to the Lazy Parrot this Sunday and ROOT FOR CHANGE.
I am Patrick Webb and I approve this message.

Moving on...
T-Shirts and Glasses:
I will be picking up our new T-Shirts this week. Be sure to be one of the "Cool Kids" and come down Sunday to get yours. There are only a handful left.

Glasses have been ordered and I hope to have them around Thanksgiving. Again, you can pre-order glasses with me and I will set them aside for you when they come in.

2nd Annual C.B.B.B. Monday Night Football Tailgate Party
I have been contacted by ESPN 840 and there is talk of the possibility that they may do some sort of 'remote'. I will have more details next week but this would be a huge thing for us as a group and I know it's a school night, but it's a big Football night for the Bills and I hope to see a strong turn out for this partty. Please check out the e-vite I sent you yesterday and RSVP there. We'll need a head count so we can plan for food etc...

Additionally I'm calling on the backers to come up with fun ideas to make it a truly festive event.
Some things we can use for the party:

* Portable Fire Pit
* Bleacher Blankets
* Coolers etc....

Feel free to e-mail me your thoughts and suggestions. If you need me to re-send the evite please let me know.

See you all on Sunday!

GO BILLS!!!
