Full Version: Strong WR core-- Blessing or curse?

I have my best core of WR's ever (I think arguably the best 4 fantasy receivers in the NFL): TO, Brandon Marshall, Steve Smith (Car), Santana Moss.

But I can start only 3. I'm leaning toward sending TO to the bench? Foolish move? Anyone have any thoughts on who to start this week?

TO (Cincy)
Moss (Philly)
Smith (Atl)
Marshall (TB)

Trades are your friend.

I know you wish you probably hadn't listened to me a couple weeks ago, but I just don't see how you can ever play Moss as long as those other guys and their QB's are healthy.

I endorse the previous two posts! thumbsup.gif

Making trades is one of the funnest parts about fantasy football, for me. What position are you weakest at? Trade one of your WR's to shore up another position. You can't start everyone...

BTW- I would be willing to bet, TO will have the biggest numbers (if not Marshall) of the guys you have...I can't stand the guy, or his team, but he would be a starter every week he is healthy on my fantasy team...

I hear you guys on trades, but in a way, I like having the depth at WR for the playoffs.

I'm not great at RB, but I have Addai and Ronnie Brown who have shown good signs of life recently, as well as Deuce McCallister and Darren Sproles on the bench.

I guess I'm not great at QB with Rothlesberger and Rodgers.

The one move I was thinking of making was trading with this one guy for a top tier RB (he has Gore, Portis, and Turner on his team). Maybe a Moss for Portis deal?

Naw-- your recommendation was the smart move.

IMO it is better to have depth at RB than WR. I think WR is the least reliable of all the positions in FF. I would trade a WR, and pick up anoterh #1 running back if possible. I would say TO is one I would least want to trade.
