The 3rd time, when quoting and replying a post, the screen with the visual security rebus that denies automated log-in was displayed. Listed me a "Guest", I didn't type in the alphanumeric, and was bounced. Had to log-in again.

Not sure what you mean. Getting my log-in zapped is common for me - perhaps my security setups. But this is the 1st time that the jumbled thingee designed to resist automatic log-in or account establishment showed up.
It has happened to me as well. Not sure what causes it but cookie for www.stadiumwall.com is still in place.

In some forums we had allowed guest posting if they typed in the CAPTCHA word. You must have been logged out and tried to post in one of those forums.
