I talked with the guy who owns Sliders this past weekend. We didn't talk for a real long time, because the place was swamped (it was right after an Orioles game), but here's some things we did discuss:

He's still thrilled about the idea of the tailgate-and the expected number of tailgaters who will be filling his place.

He mentioned 'blocking off' the street, giving us the area outside the bar, like last time, in addition to the upstairs and downstairs for the tailgate.

It hasn't been finalized, but we believe there will be a beer (Mmmmm.........beeeeeeeeer!!!) truck involved as well.

Live entertainment may not be available. I'm looking into alternatives.

The food/drink specials will most likely be the same as last year.


That's all for now. In the future, I'll be talking to the manager to hammer out all the details. She's a lot more accessible than he is (only comes in Saturday evenings while she's there 5 days a week) and we can get things finalized a lot quicker. After I have a chance to talk to her, I'll let you all know more then.
