Is there a choice other than Santonio?

Yeah. Donald Lee had just 3 catches and 40 yards less than Santonio and Eli did have another rock solid game. I voted for Holmes, though, 'cause Pittsburgh had a 153 yard game from Fast Willie to offset Lee's performance.

Oops, that reminds me. I forgot another one who was just as outstanding...

You know I have to chime in, Eli's numbers were solid ut again a poor start lead to his team falling behind and ultimately losing. Though I think there's no question Eli's top WR should Holmes get the nod as 8 catches, 7 of which for 1st downs and 3 TDs coupled with the yardage were off the charts.

Still burned up over the Eli trade, huh?

Let's see 3-0, tops in the power rankings whereas the team I traded Eli has 20 less points then me, 1-2 and 16th in the power rankings. Thus far I can't say I'm upset with anything except one of the key guys I got for Eli might never play another down in the NFL because of leukemia. Though that's nothing anyone could of predicted so again not upset at all.

Not to rain on your parade, but we have a LONG way to go. Everyone has faced no more than 2 teams so far, so it's way too early to read anything into what's happened thus far. My team is 3-0 too, but we also have games against Louisiana, Philly, and the crosstown rival Slayers up ahead, so I don't expect any kind of smooth sailing.

Be happy w/ how your team started, but don't bust your arm patting yourself on the back.

Yeah, but every week, we all have to hear you bellyache about how Eli's performance really wasnt good, or it needs to be looked into more deeply. If you are over the trade, then theres no need to keep criticizing him for having a good game.

As for being 3-0, last time i checked, playoffs started after week 16, not week 3.

Woo, he's 3-0, beating two 0-3 teams who #18 and #22 in the power rankings. wallbash.gif

Funny, 'cause last time I checked, the playoffs started after week 17, not week 16.

Well, he's not the only unbeaten team, yet he's the top dog in the rankings.

Then again, so was Texas most of last season...

The algorithm seems a bit screwy till you've got a decent amount of games against different opponents under your belt.

Agreed, which is why I advised Jokeman to err on the side of caution. It's a great start, though, and he should be happy, especially since his team just missed the playoffs last season, I think. I think they lost a tiebreaker w/ Pittsburgh for the final spot in our conference last year. That being the case, I'm sure this is a welcome start for Indy.

Actually we made the playoffs with a win in the season finale to edge out Pittsburgh for the final playoff start. Yet last year my offense was very weak in large part because of Eli's good/bad games and in fact had one of the league's worst offenses as last year my defense carried me. So, I know the season's not over but my offense has been playing rather well despite not having Eli and yes I will admit my offense and QB struggled last week but it's hard to argue that my team would be better with Eli in there instead of Garrard.

Though seriously look back at that game and Eli's inability to do little in the first half played a part as to why Colorado lost. I realize it sounds like I'm belly aching from the outside but I am only pointing out somethings as I see it and not hating on Manning just being honest. In fact look at my team closely my QB coach/Assistant is Archie Manning and the name of my team is and that I really hoped to have Eli be the face of my franchise but we felt that it was time to move Manning elsewhere.

Also the league should be happy with the trade I made as I almost dealt Eli to the Assassins who made me a better offer but before I could accept it got pulled back as they acquired Kitna before we could finalize a deal. So again I ask the jury if you were in my shoes, would you rather have Eli Manning leading your team earning $4 million a season or David Garrard leading your team at $300k?

Your winner: Santoniooooooooooo!!!!
