If you're a baseball fan, make sure you see the latest Costas NOW on HBO...first shown the night after the All Star Game, I DVR'd it and watched it last night...GREAT show.

The best was the last segment with Hank Aaron and Willie Mays...what great gentlemen and icons of the game. If you don't shed a tear watching these two, the pilot light is out.

Check your various HBO listings, I'm sure it will be run again soon.

Great show. Nice Pete Rose segment.

I liked how The owner of the LA Angels, Jim Palmer and Andy Van Slike all said that no team should sign Barry Bonds. Maybe LLR can call Those World Series champs and that loser Hall of famer and tell them they're wrong.

I'm still failing to see how Bonds wouldn't help a team AS A BASEBALL PLAYER. But I don't expect a reasonable suggestion to come from erynthered anytime soon. I know Bonds is the worst human being on the planet because the Angels owner and the Tigers hitting coach told me so. Priceless. Let's disregard World Series champs Albert Pujols, Chipper Jones, and Mike Lowell all saying they would love to have Bonds in their lineup.

MLB, the Giants, Fox, and ESPN made boatloads of money off of Barry Bonds. Now they all cast him aside like he doesn't exist and pretend they never wanted him around in the first place. Pretty sad.

Quite the contrast to the the way the media frames the Brett Favre saga. How many records did he set while using performance-enhancing pain killers along the way? How many years did he jerk around his organization? And he is presented as a King who "just loves the game" and can do whatever he wants.

Funny double standard. I think the NFL owners should enter into collusion and refuse to sign Favre, much the same way MLB owners have done with Bonds.
