I posted the results a bit early as I'll be pretty busy this weekend. Enjoy.
Very impressive wins this week by the Phelons, Hoosier Daddy?, Rage, Steers, and the Assassins. All but the Steers now sit @ 2-0. Next week's game 'tween Texas and Louisiana should be another instant classic.
Monster performances by Slayers' QB Tom Brady, Steers QB Jay Cutler, Saburz RB Edgerrin James, Phelons' RB Marshawn Lynch, Assassins' RB LaDainian Tomlinson, and Sand Devils WR Chad Johnson on the offensive side.
Defensively, Louisiana LB Brian Urlacher was dominant. Slayers' CB Marcus Trufant had a standout performance as well.
On special teams, last week's player of the week, Louisiana's Devin Hester, took yet another punt to the house. Looks like he's trying to nail down special teams player of the year already. He's well on his way.
Injuries of note were West Virginia LB Jonathan Vilma (9 weeks-elbow), Syndicate LB Mike Peterson (5 weeks-knee), and a couple of Steamers in CB Yeremiah Bell (14 weeks-hip) and RB Larry Johnson (7 weeks-ACL).

Nice game by Urlacher, I am going to tweak my gameplan this week as I feel I may have to.

Sucks for big Willie Anderson too (8 games-hip).

I counted on that happening at some point this year. Lets hope Kevin Shaffer is up to the task.

Yep. Hopefully Marshawn won't be too affected by the loss. He's having a great start to his rookie season for you.
That is the risk, though, w/ taking guys who are injured. But in your case, it may not hurt you that much, if Anderson is back to form after the injury next season plus the fact that his missed time is early means you'll have him for the stretch run this season.

Much to my surprise, Coach Dodge knows what he's doing.

We'll see. I'm looking forward to Texas-Louisiana II this weekend. Both teams have been pretty impressive to date.
