AL All-Star RosterNL All-Star Roster As to be expected. This is the problems with letting your average retarded fan get to vote.

I think they should severely limit the fans' ability to vote - not take it away altogether, but limit them to three roster spots - one P, one IF and one OF - and then of course let them vote for that "Final Man" or whatever they call it. Then let the league's GMs, managers, coaches, and even the BBWAA get to work on the true All-Star teams.
I'd also limit the All-Star manager's ability to add players from his own team.

I'm never a huge fan of fan voting because it results in too many "reputation" players from big cities.
I am happy that they got the Angels selections right this year. Rodriguez and Saunders lead the league in saves and wins, respectively, and Santana is near the top in wins and ERA. Vlad just isn't a superstar player anymore and shouldn't be an all-star just because he's Vlad and can still occasionally hit a pitch 2 inches off the ground about 450 feet.

And they need to get rid of the winning league getting homefield advantage...I'm an O's fan and have found myself rooting for the NL recently, just so the Yanks or Sawx don't get homefield in the World Series...
