I am trying to use Adblock Plus to block flash ads on IMDB. They have become quite annoying. I already have Flashblock and it is not enough for I still get the flash ad, just not seen, which blocks me from clicking on text until I dismiss it.
I tried blocking this ad for this flash ad:

I tried pattern below and several combinations to no avail.

Any ideas?
The creators of Flashblock plugin for Firefox do not intend on creating a blacklist for Flashblock.
I do and tried their suggestion but it does not work.

I don't know why you are getting ads on IMDB - I frequent that site and I don't. I too have Adblock Plus (version 0.7.5.4) active and did not have to add that string to manually block them. All I can think is try just the * without *.swf ?
