I had one from Cingular. A little less than a year ago it broke. I didn't drop it or anything, it just stopped working. So since it was only a few month old I had to send it back to the company and they sent me a new one (or so I thought). Now it's been about another 4 months and the one the sent me (refurbished, not new) has broken too. I had heard of problems with the RAZR after I bought it of course but this is two in less than a year now.

It's my sons phone and now I have to wait for yet another, probably refurbished one, to be sent to me. I hate that they lock you in with those 2 year contracts.

I really didn't start having problems with mine until I got a new job in a cabinet shop. Lots of sawdust flying around = lots of sawdust under the screen, speakers getting clogged, lenses getting scratched, ect. The phone completely died when I had it in my pocket at the LSU vs Fresno St. football game when there was a massive downpour of rain.
I am now using a cheap phone my wife had before she upgraded. It works 10x better and much more durable than my razr was, and the razr was worth about $300 more dollars.
That was the last time I ever buy a phone that doesn't fit into my everyday use.
