if it is not set in stone before hand, then you cant have one..my vote is no...what are the keeper rules..how many do we keep? you can make the rules of a keeper league up in round 20 of a 21 round draft..

i vote yes. i also vote for 3-4 keepers, but with a limit like above, as in no keepers drafted in the first X (5, maybe) number of rounds

I say yes with the following rules i posted in the draft discussion:
QUOTE
I would do keepers how it is done in most football leagues. You can not keep anyone with a draft value of round 5 and above (or whatever round we choose) and keepers value appreciate a round each year. You can even cap the number of years you can hold onto a player.
Under this method the draft is not devalued. The best players always get recycled into the draft, making the draft more fun, but puts a premium on selecting young up and coming players.
I would vote for 3 keepers (which is nothing out of a 21 player roster.)

I agree exactly with this taterhill's comments.
Fantasy baseball is a game. The game began when the draft started.
You don't change the rules in the middle of a game.
Thus- I vote no- but will support whatever decision we come up with.

I vote yes for keepers but no keepers can be from the first 4 or 5 rounds. Also, maybe we can make it so everyone must keep 2 and if you want to keep another it will cost you a 5th round selection in the draft. But I am good with whatever we decide.

Who is Silent Bob and why does he care? Did someone else change their name?
My vote would be no but if it passes I'm not going to get mad.

If I understand it correctly, you still do a new draft, you just select two-four guys to hold onto.

Right now it's 5-3. Not enough to say for sure. Let's get the rest to vote on this. I feel bad about it because it was something I had in mind the whole time but I definitely did not make that clear enough to the rest of you. It only came across as a point of discussion.

I vote no but don't really care either way.

It would seem that those who are voting no are also saying "I don't really care." Why not just go with the system I outlined which will not effect anyone's draft?

this was my feeling all along. i thought we had agreed on one and i kept it in mind based on how we drafted. I am all for slothrop's suggestion, allowing 2-4 keepers, onyl from the lower rounds
