I own this diet book called Superfoods, I'm not tying to advertise the book you don't need to buy it,basically it's another eat healthy foods book, however it does list different foods and why they are good for you. I'll list all the foods and one beverage and some things they do. There are also honorable mentions and other things I can give you more info on, but if anyone has any questions feel free to PM and I'll to help out how I can.

Beans- Low-fat protein, Fiber, B vitamins
Blueberries- Low calories, Polyphenols, Magnesium
Broccoli- Fiber, Calcium, Viatmin K
Oats- High Fiber, Low calories
Oranges- Vitamin C, Pectin
Pumpkin- Alpha-carotene, Beta-carotene
Salmon- Omega 3 faty acids, B vitamins
Soy- B vitamins, Vitamin E
Spinach- Low calories, Antioxidants, minerals (calcium, iron, etc...)
Tea (Green)- Anti-viral, Anti-Cavity, Anti-Inflammatory
Tomatoes- Lycopene, Low calories, Vitamin C
Turkey- Low fat protein, Iron, Zinc
Walnuts- Protein, Plant Omega 3 fatty acids
Yogurt- Calcium, Potassium, Live active cultures
