What? On the St. Louie "fast track."

IMO, I don't think it pays to rest your players...

Are you joking with that comparison? The other night the Mets had a lineup with ZERO starters. That's right, none.

As always I find it so amusing that the Yankee fans on this board continue to be obsessed with the Mets.

First of all....not sure why you think my comment makes me obsessed with the mets. I am a yankee fan, but I like the mets and would love to see a subway series again.

Secondly, the Mets won that game you speak of, so not sure why you used that as a retort to why the mets no longer have the best record in baseball.

Try a little harder to follow the thread.....

I didn't say that you were obsessed with the Mets. I was referring to this inane thread that was predictably started by a Yankee fan.

I simply pointed out that your insinuation that a Yankee lineup with six starters was the equivalent of 'playing the bench' is ludicrous.

Obviously the Mets don’t care about the best record in baseball. And I’m pretty sure the Yankees don’t care either. Only certain people on this board who don’t really understand baseball seem to care. But if it matter to you, have a blast!

Now that the Red Sox are out of it, they need to have to have something to do.

The funny thing is if that was the Yankees regular lineup at the start of the year without the very good players you mentioned they would probably still be a .500 team at the end of the year.

The Yankees need to play for the best record in the AL for home field. Unlike the Mets, where in the National League you can play with wiffle ball bats and get homefield tongue.gif
