Hi Admins,
I was wondering if it was possible to change the current information displayed when you MouseOver a title in the forum. Currently it displays the date the topic was started but I've seen other boards display a preview of the text of the topic itself. Much easier to determine if the thread is worth opening for those of us still suffering with dial-up connections.

That's a feature using different forum software, I'm not sure if this paticular software offers that feature.

yeah, that is a vbulletin feature, not a IPB one. It actually may be MORE painful for dailup users, since you have to download all those little pieces of text every time you visit the main index.

There's a lo-fi version of the board if dial-up is dragging you down. The link is typically at the bottom of a page.
