This really pissed me off....I had no idea they even did this. Andruw has evolved his game into one of the best in the MLB. He's worked his ass off to get his offense to where it is and become one of the most well-rounded players in the game. This is not a player you treat this way.

I have a lot of faith in him myself, but Andruw is my favorite player dammit! lol But seriously, I think with the sale of the Braves looming it may have a lot to do with money. I don't want to see the guy go. They're already planning to jettison Marcus Giles, and we lost Furcal....that would suck if Andruw goes too.

Next Chipper, John Smoltz, Hudson, Franceour (Forgive if it's misspelled), and anyone else possible. Heck, let's liquidate the whole team and move them to Montreal. Oh.....wait.......you know what? That probably wouldn't work either.

supposedly there are a lot of concerns about the sale of the Braves with regard to payroll....there is a lot of talent on this team, and it would be a shame to see some of these guys go. There is a nice nucleus of young players here....hell, even Andruw is only 29. If not for Hampton's injury and Hudson's crap season, this team would have won it's 15th division title. Our pitching is the issue....

Yep, the pitching sucks. I couldn't agree more. The run had to end at some point.

I still see Andruw being gone after next year. I don't know where he's going to end up and I absolutely hate to see him go but it's obvious the Braves are more in line with the A's method of payroll than the Yanks. And AJ is probably going to command 12-15 mill/yr over the next 5-7 years.
