The problem is that I'm not real big fans of large emoticons, image signatures, etc... I suspect many of our posters think the same way.
There are several in the second link that fit in perfectly with the current set.

I'd agree. I like our current set; they're small, mostly non-motion, and can be used to convey your point pretty well. I don't know that we need any more.
