The Giambino has been HUGE for them this year. Remember last year when everyone was down on him? Maybe this is what the future of A-Rod in the Big Apple will look like. GO YANKS!

Shut up tongue.gif You're just another one of those whiney Red Sox fans, huh? Geez, I mean you guys finally won a title a couple of years ago. It's not my fault that we've won 26. laugh.gif

Yep, but when the Red Sox beat the great Kansas City Royals 1-0 in back to back games, I am sure you and ESPN celebrated that accomplishment against a AAA team, but yep, that is ok. doh.gif doh.gif

Spare us the whining.

Yep, the "Giambino" is definitely back on the chemicals. It's so friggin ridiculous that he gets a pass for this and no one questions why he's suddenly back to his old self.

The guy's a steroid user. He's cheated in the past. I don't see any reason not to think he couldn't be doing it again. But no one even brings it up.

Giambi is worse than Palmeiro and yet he's more popular than ARod. That's disgraceful.

Please, he's much smaller than he was before.

ARod is upopular (this season) due to his horrible fielding. He's a headcase.

The Yanks' hitting coach Donnie Baseball is partially responsible for Giambi's success. Definitely some clutch hitting last night after the bullpen blew a two run eighth inning lead.

Wasn't whining about Rodriguez in the first place. He's one of baseball's greatest players and surely will snap out of it. New York is one of the toughest places to have to play because of the fairweather fans and media full of a-holes. Philly is the exact same way. Last time I checked we're still leading the wild-card and just a 1/2 game behind the Sox as we speak. Boston will do the usual late season swoon and the Yanks will win the division, yet again, if we can hold off the Jays. Go shed a tear in your Boston Lager for your sorrows.

I LOVE the Yankees, but HATE this argument. Particularly at inoppurtune times. This is one of them. I like to dust it off for special occasions only.

Actually, I was fairly annoyed but relieved they got the win. My original point was that the White Sox, who were the supposed "best team in baseball", couldn't muster a single win against an injury depleted Yankee team. As we have seen in recent days that the White Sox are playing terrible baseball, and it should not come as a surprise that the Yankees beat them.
