There was a bit of a power surge in Toronto yesterday. devil.gif chris.gif

I'm not sure if the Yankees let Sidney Ponson travel with the team after the game or if they just dumped him into Lake Ontario before heading to the airport.

Toronto is just laying in the weeds so to speak...wonder what the Jays will do at the deadline?

Seems everytime the Jays get going, they just fall back a tad...they really need a 6+ game winning streak to really get in the mix.

Probably right about that one. The only deal I've heard is close is one of the young pitchers (McGowan, most likely) for Julio Lugo -- who could probably help them out a lot.

I think they're going to try and ride out the starting pitching issues and wait for Chacin to return.
