they picked up some relief pitching in what ended up as an 8 player deal. I think they made a big mistake by dealing kearns. Washington definitely got a solid young player.

Most people are still in shock around here, but after the Arroyo/Pena trade, we have no choice but to have faith in Krivsky until given reason not to

Actually I think it is a good deal for both teams. The Reds are still in the race and are right there in the Wild Card. They needed bullpen help. Kearns is a good player but its pitching in the end that gets the team to the playoffs.
