they picked up some relief pitching in what ended up as an 8 player deal. I think they made a big mistake by dealing kearns. Washington definitely got a solid young player.

Actually I think it is a good deal for both teams. The Reds are still in the race and are right there in the Wild Card. They needed bullpen help. Kearns is a good player but its pitching in the end that gets the team to the playoffs.

Now if you guys woulod actually PLAY ryan freel on an everyday basis, you many have a shot at the WC.
