I am going to be attending the game--first game I am going to since I went to go and see the BoSox at Yankee Stadium on the 4th of July a couple of years ago.
Anyways, the Mets have lost 3 in a row, their coming into the Stadium and they have the back end of their rotation facing the top of the Yankee's rotation.
Hopefully, the Yanks will keep them reeling and set off a couple of fireworks of their own and keep up with the surging Red Sox who have won 12 in a row. Hopefully, I can get out of work around 5:30 so I can hit up a local watering hole and get my pregame on as well.

not a bad series for yankee fans, great to see a-rod bust out the whoopin stick in "important" situations, great to see a one hitter by comittee, sucks that The Unit and Jared Wright had tough outings but loving this nick green guy, and decent job by ron villone yesterday....GO YANKEES!!!!!!

He looked ok for his first start. Kind of hard to evaluate since the Mets had the game put away so early. Pelfrey was fairly wild but overall pitched a decent five innings.
