One regular Centrum.

125 mg Vitamin C.

One 500 mg Calcium +D.

One 900 mg Fish Oil (Omega - 3).

I buy the Nature Made brand of C, Ca, and Omega-3. Their ingredients are verified by the U.S.P. ( U. S. Pharmacopeia).

I take the Centrum primarily for the trace minerals. What with so many foods already being fortified - and it's on the rise - I may cut that down to 1/2 tablet per day.

Vege multi too, 1000 IU fish oil, 400 IU E, Glucosamine (still not sure if it's voodoo but I play a lot of sports so I figure it might be good for my knees), and 80 mg aspirin (something just about everyone should take).

JSP also takes a serving of crow a day for being so critical of Marv and the Bills 2006 draft.

Do the vegetarian multi pills contain the necessary amino acids that are lacking with a vegetarian diet? Or am I thinking of the Vegan diets? Dunno...

The 81 mg aspirin per day is a good idea. It's well-established for benefit for males, but the jury is out for females. But anyway one looks at it, aspirin is the closest thing to a "wonder" drug there is.

There have been some intimations about glucosamines having an effect on triglyceride levels. My levels (family proclivity) are higher than usual, so I pay particular attention to anything that raises that.

BTW, if you are scheduled for a lipid profile for cholesterols and triglycerides, be sure to eliminate sugar products a few days beforehand. They will really drive the triglyceride numbers through the roof. Minimum 12-hour fasting...including chewing gum.

They do but I'm not a vegan so I don't have AA deficiency concerns.

That article concluded "Thus, glucosamine supplementation appears to be safe, with no adverse vascular consequences." But I'll still look into it.
